My class Te Maunga has been learning about recycling When you recycle you put something that's recyclable in the recycling bin and then the rubbish truck will take it somewhere and put it in a landfill or sending it to China to get made into something new. Refuse is when you put it in the right bin so For example if you wanted to throw away a banana peel you would put it in food scraps, if you had paper it would go in the recycle and if you had a used tissue it would go in the rubbish. Reusing is when you have a zip lock bag and then you use it you can keep the zip lock bag and clean it then use it over and over again. If you had zip lock bags but you didn’t want to clean then reuse them you could stop buying them and reduce the amount of plastic you use.
